Office of Vice President and Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies
The Vice President and Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies (VPR) is the university’s chief research officer. The VPR advises the President and Provost on research and graduate programs, and works closely with the deans, faculty, fellow officers of the university and outside partners and constituents to promote the viability and impact of research and graduate programs.
Office of Research and Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) supports faculty and staff in seeking and administering funding for research programs through grants, contracts, and other external funding opportunities. ORSP provides services and support to enable members of the university community to compete successfully for outside funding and to manage their funded programs successfully. Office of Technology Transfer
The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) manages intellectual property developed at Lehigh with the goal of enhancing the economic and societal impact of our creative work. OTT works closely with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship and Creativity, the Office of Government Relations and Economic Development, and faculty, staff and students to facilitate dissemination of scholarly work through entrepreneurial and established business channels.
Graduate Student Life
The Graduate Student Life Office supports success of graduate students in their full development as scholars and professionals during their time at Lehigh. The office’s programming includes graduate orientation, development of skills necessary to academic success, and an array of programs to support personal and professional growth. Many of the office’s programs are student-run, with office support. The office also provides, and facilitates access to, supportive services that graduate student may need from time to time.
Environmental Health and Safety
Environmental Health and Safety promotes a safe and healthful environment for the university through the development and implementation of health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs and procedures, which include hazardous waste management, NRC License administration, inspections, training sessions, and emergency response actions.
