SPIN (Sponsored Programs Information Network)
SPIN currently contains information from more than 1,200 different sponsoring agencies, which together fund over 11,000 separate funding opportunities. All of the information on SPIN is obtained directly from the sponsoring agencies to ensure the integrity of the information. Each funding opportunity is updated on SPIN as the sponsoring agency comes out with updated or revised information, which is typically on an annual basis. The SPIN database is provided through annual subscription to over 700 colleges, universities, and industry clients worldwide. It is a computer database with detailed and up-to-the-minute information about thousands of federal, non-federal, and international funding opportunities." SPIN is also browseable by new funding opportunies, new sponsors, and deadlines. SPIN is funded and managed by the University Office of Research.

Some sponsors limit the number of nominations or proposals that Lehigh may submit to a particular program. Internal nominations or proposals are coordinated by the Office of the Vice President and Associate Provost for Research and Graduate Studies. Deadlines for these opportunities occur throughout the year and we will endeavor to keep the information on this site as up-to-date as possible. We encourage you to check back often.
