Government Relations and Economic Development

The Office of Government Relations and Economic Development works to assure alignment of Lehigh research with the needs and priorities of government and government agencies, and with the efforts of others who strive to advance regional economic development. The office facilitates topical exchange with business, government and academic colleagues and peers, especially in areas of public priority and focus for Lehigh.

Economic development activities are supported by staff serving in key roles in outside economic development organizations on various national, state and local economic development boards, committees and programs. An active federal and state relations program helps Lehigh University drive and contribute to the economic growth of the Lehigh Valley and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Our office files all state and federal lobbying disclosure registration and reporting requirements on behalf of the university, as required by law.
