The Office of Technology Transfer identifies, evaluates, and facilitates the transfer of intellectual property from Lehigh University (LU) to the private sector. The OTT screens inventions and discoveries made in university facilities for patentability, commercial potential, and general marketability, compiles lists of technologies available for licensing and of patents issued, markets LU technologies/patents to companies and negotiates licensing arrangements or start-up venture formation.
