Lehigh has a wide-ranging seed funding program. We offer five grant
programs with varying levels of funding throughout the year for
faculty-led research.

Fund for Publishing
The Fund for Publishing was developed to provide publication support for faculty - to expand readership, improve accessibility, and enhance research productivity.
FRG - Faculty Research Grants
The FRG is offered twice a year and provides up to $6,000 for the conduct, completion and expansion of research projects.
FT-FRG - Fast Track Faculty Research Grants
Time-limited opportunity? These grants provide funding of up to $6,000 for quick support to allow Lehigh faculty to take advantage of a time-limited opportunity to grow their work.
FIG - Faculty Innovation Grants
The FIG provides up to $30,000 to help faculty launch new research projects that can continue well beyond the period of the FIG grant, taking existing research in promising new directions.
CORE - Collaborative Research Opportunity Grants
CORE grants provide up to $60,000 for conduct of research with the goal of establishing and growing productive and competitive multi-faculty research programs.
Accelerator Grants
These large scale grants provide up to $100,000 to support teams of Lehigh investigators in developing multi-investigator research programs in particularly promising areas.
