Dear Members of the Faculty,
As announced in Provost Urban’s April 25 email, we have begun implementation of LIRA, Lehigh’s new electronic research administration system.
The next phase of the process, iteration, will take place over the course of the summer, and involves repeated testing of LIRA and its processes by both faculty and staff. This phase helps validate the improved proposal and award processes that we will put in place with the implementation of the system later this calendar year.
We value your engagement as we work to make LIRA an effective and helpful system. There are opportunities for participation with varying obligations of time. If you are interested in contributing to the iteration process this summer, and have time available amidst your other commitments, please respond to this email by May 31. We will then follow up with further information.
