LIRA Expansion to Include COI

We are happy to announce that the LIRA system will be expanded to include a new Conflict of Interest (COI) module. The new COI module will collect and document all required disclosures per the university’s Conflict of Interest policy and the policy on Financial Conflicts of Interest Related to Research and Sponsored Programs. The goal is to make the disclosure process less burdensome for users while also helping to ensure that Lehigh remains compliant with all applicable regulations and requirements.

The system will go live in November 2023, at which time, all faculty and staff will be required to log into LIRA to complete the required annual policy review and disclosure. An email will be sent to the campus community in October that will include training resources. The annual policy review and disclosure requirement details will be emailed to all faculty and staff in late November 2023.
